Meet Cute by Armentrout et al.๐Ÿ“–

Oh how i loved reading all of these cute meet-cute stories!! There were so many different and original stories, all based on a meet-cute!!

I remember first hearing the word meet-cute and learning what it was from the movie The holiday with Cameron Diaz and it has later turned out to be one of my favorite movies, so when I heard of the book I knew I had to get it!! I bought it back in June when I was in London with my sister and finally got to it now๐Ÿ’• It did not disappoint.

I didn’t LOVE all of the stories, but found my favorites (as you do!). I’m just so sad I won’t get to continue the stories!! Some of the stories had an ending that felt final, but then the next one would feel like it was the beginning of their story, and I would love to continue and actually find out how it ends! But like I said, the stories were all very different. My five favorites have to be; (in no particular order)

  • Print shop by Nina LaCour
  • The departement of dead love by Nicola Yoon
  • The dictionary of you and me by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  • Oomph by Emery Lord
  • The unlikely likelihood of falling in love by Jocelyn Davies๐Ÿ˜

One thing that was really cool was the fact that the themes and genres of the stories were completely different. You’ll find something for everyone in these stories! The book has gay, straight, and transgender MCs. And in one of the stories it’s about going to mars!! How cool isn’t that? So you’ll read some Sci-if, fantasy and young adult!

I didn’t feel like there were a lot of trigger warnings, but if there would be any I guess death, heartbreak and loss would be the ones I can think of.

My score:โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

Have you read Meet cute yet? If so, what was your favorite story? Also, what are you up to this summer?? Please feel free to leave a comment๐Ÿ˜

I’m also on Instagram and Twitter @mundaneblogcom if you want to keep up with my reading, everything book related really, and my blog post updates!

This book sounds adorable – I had it on my radar ever since I first heard about it, a little while ago. It sounds like such a fun, adorable read and, even if I am not usually reading short stories like these, somehow I really want to read these ones ๐Ÿ˜€

It really was so I would definitely recommend it๐Ÿ˜ I think Iโ€™ve only read one other book with short stories like this and it wasnโ€™t as good (but also on an entirely different subject!) Thank you so much๐Ÿ’• That means a lot!!
